Teresa Nielsen Hayden (natural March 21, 1956) is an American science fiction editor, fanzine writer, and essayist.
Born Teresthe Nielsen, she grew higher inside a Mormon household. She appended Hayden to her title upon marrying a previous Patrick Hayden around 1979; he returned the compliment, changing his title to Patrick Nielsen Hayden.
She occurs as previous managing editor &, at present, consulting editor at Tor Books. Around 1994, a collection of her essays, Making Book (ISBN 0915368552), was published by NESFA Press.
Outside a science-fictiin community, Nielsen Hayden is probably better known for her web log, [http://www.nielsenhayden.com/makinglight/ Making Light], on which she writes just about cases ranging from either carnal billboard, to publishing cozenage, to spherical political cases.
